The vigilante pumps up tall and reasonably narrow which offers good isolation from bumps that could benefit a hardtail or shorter travel rig. It comes with fewer options there is no high traction option available. This tire seems about as resistant to rolling as the michelin wild grip r advanced but the tread pattern on the vigilante feels smoother and more even.
